For anyone working at or visiting Greenslopes Private Hospital, or living around the Greenslopes Mall and Logan Road precinct, an eye test no longer means a trek into the city or a wait at a busy chain.

We are a small, independent practice by design. You see the same optometrist each visit, appointments are unrushed, and your eye health is tracked carefully over time — the sort of personal, continuous care a high-volume franchise simply cannot match.

Every comprehensive eye examination runs 45 to 60 minutes and looks well beyond your prescription — screening for glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration and the eye changes associated with diabetes and high blood pressure. Given Greenslopes' strong health precinct, we work alongside local GPs and specialists, and refer with a detailed clinical summary whenever specialist care is needed.

We also fit contact lenses, treat dry eye at its underlying cause, provide children's eye tests and myopia management, and bulk bill all children under 18. No referral is needed to book an eye examination with us.

We believe you should know what your eye care costs upfront. Our fees are published in full, with the Medicare rebate and out-of-pocket clearly set out, bulk billing for under-18s, and a reduced fee for pension card holders — so Greenslopes patients can book with confidence and no surprises.
